About the event

Learn the Japanese horticultural technique of Kokedama!  Kokedama (translating as ‘moss ball’) is a clever and fun way to contain a plant’s root ball in soil, moss, and twine.  This makes for an aesthetically interesting and fun way to present and care for your houseplants.  


All materials needed are provided for this 2-hour workshop.


In this workshop you will:
  • Create your own kokedama house plant.

  • Select from 3-different easy and beautiful indoor plants.

  • Learn the Japanese technique of kokedama to use for your own future plant crafting projects.

  • Choose either a hanging or water dish option for display.
