Clothes Swap Party SPRING Edition!

Back due to popular demand! Dig out some quality pre-loved or vintage clothes that need a new home, refresh your SPRING wardrobe, save money and say NO to textile waste. 

HOW THE SWAP WORKS 

1. Please arrive promptly at 3pm with your 5 - 10 items of clothing in a bag/box^ to add to the swap collection! These will be arranged on tables between 3:00-3:30pm... before the swapping begins! (This is when you hang out and have a drink - it's BYO!)

2. Swappers are encouraged to work on a 1:1 swap ratio e.g. if you bring 8 items in to swap you can find 8 treasures to take home with you! This is based on an honesty policy not monitored by hosts. 

3. Take and try on swap items after the swap is officially declared open by the hosts. This will take place after the brief welcome and introduction at the beginning. After this, guests can try on and take what they like. 

4. At the end of the swap items will be donated to an op shop/community service (if people don't want to give the remaining items a forever home).

SWAP RESPONSIBILITIES

Let's make it fun

* Please be mindful of what other swappers would be happy to find at the swap - think things bought when you were feeling bold but now don't ever escape the wardrobe!

* Clothes brought to swap MUST be clean, good quality and in good condition: not too heavily worn out, faded, pilled or damaged. Bring items that you would give to your best friend or hidden gems you’d be chuffed to find in an op shop. 

* Unfortunately we can’t guarantee you will find items in your size or style preferences. It depends on what other guests bring. We encourage everyone to come and get involved. This will work best if you bring a variety of items to share with others. 

* ITEMS TO BRING: tops, jumpers, jackets, pants, skirts, dresses, scarves, hats and shoes & BYO drinks if you wish!

* WHAT NOT TO BRING: no jewellery, swimwear, underwear, socks, pyjamas and overused exercise clothes please.
