About the event

This spoon carving workshop is perfect for beginners who are curious about trying something new. Spend a day surrounded by laughter and learning as you transform a simple piece of wood into a unique masterpiece!

No prior experience needed – you will be guided every step of the way on how to use tools like a scooping gouge and carving knife. You'll be amazed at what you've accomplished and thrilled to take home your very own hand-carved wooden spoon.

Try something new and join Rachel from Waiting for Spring for an afternoon of fun, creativity, and adventure, you won't regret it!

CARVE A SPOON CLASS

You don't need any prior experience — just bring your creativity, and you’ll leave with a unique piece or pieces you hand crafted all by yourself. Rachel’s classes are perfect for unleashing your inner artist and having tons of fun with wood carving.  

Includes 

  • Timber for you to carve
  • The use of all tools required for the duration of the workshop. Including      a cut resistant glove and apron
  • Organic food safe wood finish
  • Light refreshments

PLEASE ARRIVE 15 mins early

What to wear 

  • Closed in shoes 
  • Clothes you don’t mind getting dusty
  • Full length pants preferred
